Accessibility

Accessible because public agencies have to be.

We are committed to software that is useful and accessible to everyone who has to use it, including people with disabilities — and we support the goals behind the federal regulations that require it.

Section 508

Section 508 is the portion of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d) requiring federal agencies to meet accessibility standards when buying, developing, maintaining or using information technology. It exists to remove barriers to electronic information for people with disabilities.

Where it applies in our software

How we approach it

Accessibility of any given deployment also depends on how our tools are configured and on the other hardware and software they work alongside. If you need specific conformance detail for a procurement, ask us and we will give you a straight answer.
